Psychoslime
Psychoslime is a fast‑paced first‑person omnidirectional platformer created for the Bigmode Game Jam 2026, built by ddunit & jerminator777.
Important notice... Looks like progress tracking doesn't work in the browser, I am assuming it has to do with thread usage? Try downloading if you want to get a high score!
You play as a slime who’s absolutely done with being squished, stabbed, exploded, and generally mistreated by the universe. So you’ve gained raw telekinetic powers by sheer force of will. Now to yeet yourself into every surface imaginable as fast as possible as revenge.
Goal
- Slam, slide and boop into the black surfaces to cover them with your angry slime
Controls
- Mouse motion: Moves the camera around
- Left Click: Accelerating instantly
- Right Click: Slow yourself down, regardless of direction
- Escape: Pause / unpause the game. In the browser, looks like you gotta hit escape twice
What was implemented
- Main menu
- Level picker that keeps track of your best score
- Settings for screen size and sound
- Omnidirectional zooming
- Surface tagging when you come in contact with them
Notes / known issues
- We had never used Blender before. Some of the collision with UV maps are hella jank, sorry
- I'm also sorry about the sounds, they do be slimy
- It's pretty choppy in the browser, try to download it if you want the full experience
- On an ultra wide monitor, windowed mode is choppy
